MPF Scheme of the Year finalists and the winner are assessed as the most well diversified MPF schemes across all key criteria assessed by MPF Ratings; investment performance, fees and charges, as well as, an assessment of overall services within the schemes.

Criteria and Methodology⁴:

• Only Gold Rated Schemes are considered for MPF Scheme of the Year.
• An MPF scheme delivering exceptional aggregate value across key assessment criteria could be awarded the Gold Rated Scheme. The Gold Rated Scheme with the highest rating may be announced as the MPF Ratings' MPF Scheme of the Year.
• Details of the assessment modules and their weightings are as follows·        The ratings system of Gold Rated Schemes5 covers three main assessment components: Investment Choices and Performance, Fees and Charges, and an assessment of overall services within the scheme

Grand Award – MPF Brand of the Year⁷

The MPF Brand of the Year Award recognizes an MPF Provider whose brand strategy best demonstrates the ability to connect with the public and increase their perceived brand trustworthiness and admiration.

Judging Methodology:

• This award is not open for self-nomination
• Results are determined strictly by the findings of 4,000 qualified respondents in the 2019/2020 BENCHMARK MPF Quality Study, who are active clients, prospective clients and non-prospective clients based on their client experience with the provider, digital satisfaction, advisory capability, brand familiarity, support and service received
• A Brand Popularity Index ranking will also be drawn on all the providers to be integrated to the overall weighting
• The judges will consider the following key factors when voting for their favorite brand: end-user familiarity, support and service received, investor education, performance consistency and digital access
